INDIA cricket series

So,the india-england series have finally ended!! Indian players must be very happy and relieved (even though they wanted to run away from there as soon as possible :-) :-P )

They have been completely outplayed by opposition in all formats of the game...whether its test,t20 or odis. Must say that they were bit unlucky though in odi series where 3 out of 5 games were more of a 'rain match' rather than a cricket match.

India batted well in first odi and were in a good position when england were 21/3 in 7 overs in reply to india's 275....but then rain match started and play was called off. India could hav got their first win of the whole series. Next time they came close to winning a match was in 4th odi where the match was tied according to duckworth lewis method.

This D/L method spoiled all the enjoyment of the match because of their silly calculations!! If india would have won these two matches...then the final result would have been 2-2 instead of 3-0.

The test series was lost because i think too many players got injured in between the series like zaheer, ishant, gambhir etc. Then bcci replaced them with players who did not have so called 'match practice' whatsoever.

This is where bcci has to change. While announcing a squad to particular place...instead of 15 players....they should atleast notify another 15 players that they could be a replacement,so be match fit with lot of practice.

But unfortunately there is no such system in place except during world cup. This method was main reason why we won the world cup too!!

Anyhow...its just one bad series for india. Did i say its all over for india?.. No!... They are surely gonna come back stronger, sharper(not by drinking horlicks;) ) and would become the most dangerous side in the world again. Lets hope it happens very soon!! :))

Trip to Golconda Fort with my friends

Finally i have my own blog!! :))

I just wanted to share one of my trips to Golconda fort with my friends. So we were around nine people; 4 from my branch (eee)-sandeep,naveed,

Vinod and myself....phani and devendra from biotech and kranthi, amruth, arjun from ece branch.

We went to Golconda just a day after we had finished our 2nd yr 1st sem xams in jan... We 8 people started around 11am from our college and reached Golconda by 11:45. We waited for our friend devendra to join us but he was getting late..so we went inside and started our nakrapans;) phani was bit sad that his best friend and classmate dev was not there.

So we started roaming around the whole fort, clicking pictures every minute, posing for it and everything else. Our friend Devendra arrived and Phani was happy again mood and we continued. We went up the fort and had a awesome view of our city Hyderabad from there.

In between i must say that we were lost inside this huge fort. We were displaced in groups. Some there, some here:)) So we started looking out for each other and ya,it took lot of time but more than that, a lot more enjoyable experience.

Finally we met near the entrance, came out and then decided to go somewhere and have something to eat. Phani and Dev went to amul and had manchurias there. They enjoyed it a lot. Rest of us just came back to our good old college canteen and ordered for biryanis. I got a small plate of that, but was enough for my tummy size!;)

Overall,it was a splendid day spending times with our friends and going for a 'just now planned trip'. Looking forward for another trip of its kind, and this time instead of 8-9 people,it will be around 25-30 people;)
